Lush Leeds - New Store and Spa

It's no secret that I'm a huge Lush fan, and I do try to pop into the store (and buy myself a bath time treat or two!) whenever I visit Leeds. The only problem with this is that if you get quite a few people in the store at any given time, It can start to feel a bit full. And around Christmas time it got more and more difficult to manage a 'casual pop in'. Oh but good news, lush lovers of Leeds! They've moved to a brand new, much more spacious, spot!

And because I'm a lucky little so-and-so, I got to be part of a group invited to have a good look around the new store and spa before it officially opened to the public on Friday! It'll be nice and easy to find as it's only moved along the street from its previous home, but to a much bigger place so they could really go to town with displaying their rather wonderful wares.

This means that certain products sections that weren't given a lot of space in the previous shop, such as the make up and perfume sections, are now really given a chance to shine!

As well as being able to check out the space itself on the evening, there were plenty of friendly staff members about to explain what everything was an how it worked. Despite never really giving it much thought before, I now have a Lush make up wishlist as long as my arm! The ladies really did a great job of selling it!

There was also food and drink a-plenty, and I managed to grab myself a gorgeous little pot of cheesecake, as well as more than one glass of prosecco!

I had the most amazing arm massage with one of the gorgeous Lush massage bars, and we ha chance to make our very own mini-comforter. The comforter is one of the bath products I've never actually bought, so it was a really fun way to get my hands on one! I promise mine was looking pretty professional..... 'til I popped it into my bag and it got a bit squished, oops!

And then it was time to visit the spa! A set of stairs hiding behind an inconspicuous looking door leads downstairs to a totally unique and amazing spa. For a start, it doesn't really look like a spa, it looks like a fairytale grandmothers country cottage. It's cosy and homey and I want to move in and live there forever and ever.

We had a mini tour of the treatment rooms, where we got to learn a bit about some of the treatments on offer too. I know I HAVE to go back for a full treatment, but it'll be tough choosing where to start! The chocolate and rose based body treatment The Comforter wouldn't be a bad place though!

When I got back upstairs someone told me how relaxed I looked from being in the spa - and all I did was look around! I can imagine if the beautiful surroundings and magical music alone made me feel so relaxed the actual treatments could be pretty life-changing!

It was all too soon time to leave (though I know I'll be back soon!), but to soften the exit we were given these wonderful goody bags to take with us. Along with my handmade-by-me rather misshapen comforter (which smells blinking amazing by the way!), we were given a 'Zest' hair gel, 'D'fluff' shaving cream, 'African Paradise' body conditioner and the very intriguing 'Sunblock' to test out too - I can't wait to try them all and I'm sure they'll all be appearing here again in the near future!
